A Margate man is the latest thug to be charged with taking part in violent clashes in Dover in January 2016.
Andrew Scott, 41, of Ramsgate Road, Margate, has been jailed for a year for disrupting a planned march through the port town.
More than 60 people have now been sentenced for offences committed during the demonstrations by Far Right and anti-racism protesters.
Scott was among those who broke away from an assembled protest in an attempt to block the route of the march.
Trouble broke out between both sets of demonstrators, and Scott was seen to throw an object while wearing a blue hard hat and a scarf across his face. He later removed the scarf in front of a police officer who was recording the violence on his body worn camera.
Scott was arrested at his home on Thursday 22 December after detectives established his identity. He was charged with violent disorder.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday 4 May.
Investigating officer PC James Hatton-Browne said: “While those who committed offences during the demonstrations had differing political views, they shared an inability to express those views in a civilised and peaceful manner.
“Andrew Scott tried to conceal his identity during the violence, which suggests he knew he was breaking the law and was aware of the possible consequences should he be caught.
“Hopefully he will think twice about acting in such an unacceptable way should he attend any similar events in the future.”
