Dreamland’s Scenic Railway is back on track

Dreamland’s Scenic Railway is up and running again ahead of schedule following a short planned maintenance period.

Specialist rope splicers replaced a section of the rope on one of the ride’s lift hills. The ride was due to reopen on July 29 but is whizzing visitors around the wooden tracks once again from today (July 27).

Another historic attraction at the park is the Wall of Death. Appearing at Dreamland until August 6, motorcycles speed past just inches from visitors as they circle the 20-foot high wall.

It is referred to as the smallest and steepest racetrack in the world. Tickets are priced at £3.50/£3 for members and advanced booking is recommended here
