A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision in George V Avenue, Margate, this morning (February 6).
The road remains shut while police carry out enquiries. Access is for Hartsdown Academy only from Hartsdown Road.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 5.56am to a collision involving a car and a cyclist in George V Avenue, Margate.
“Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the cyclist was treated for injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention. The road is currently closed to traffic while enquiries into the incident are completed.”
Probably caused by a pothole.
