The annual Police Panto is saddling up and riding back into Ramsgate this February with a rootin’-tootin’ new production, The Far-Fetched Fable of Fanny Folkly.
Thw Wild West Westwood pantomime will be packed with laughs, music, family fun, and community spirit.
The curtain rises at Taylor Hall Theatre, St Lawrence College, Ramsgate, from 19–21 February, with matinee performances at 2pm and evening shows at 7pm.
Performed by serving and retired police officers, police staff, and their families, the Police Panto is a long-standing community tradition that has been riding strong for over 25 years.
In that time, the show has raised more than £235,000 for local Thanet charities, proving that when the community pulls together, great things happen.
This year’s charity partners are three causes close to local hearts:
QEQM League of Friends, supporting Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital
Guide Dogs, helping people with sight loss live with independence and confidence
Cats in Crisis (Thanet), providing care and protection for vulnerable local cats
Every ticket sold helps these charities continue their vital work.
Audiences can expect a classic pantomime showdown full of cowboy capers, dastardly villains, heroic highs, toe-tapping tunes and plenty of “it’s behind you” moments. With colourful costumes, audience participation and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is a show designed to entertain cowpokes of all ages.
