St Lawrence Post Office is due to re-open next week after extensive building work at the premises at 36-42 High Street, St Lawrence, Ramsgate.
The branch temporarily closed on 24 November and it is now due to re-open after the refurbishment on Friday 16 January at 1pm.
During the interim alternative branches have included Newington and Ramsgate.
Opening hours will remain as Monday to Friday: 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.
Emily Clive, Post Office Area manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work. The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it was necessary for the service to close temporarily. Service will soon be restored.”
