Ramsgate Garden Centre
Ramsgate Garden Centre’s grotto opens from 22nd November and promises a truly festive experience packed with cheer and activities to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Santa himself will be visiting the garden centre with his elves, spreading joy to families and little ones.
Santa’s friendly elves will welcome families into their festive workshop before guiding them to meet Father Christmas. Children will receive a special gift and a personal message, while parents can take their own photos to capture the moment. A Photobooth option will also be available on the day for those who want to make their visit even more memorable.
Tickets start at £19.99 and include an up to 40-minute group Grotto experience and a present for your child. All our Grotto sessions have limited numbers. Each child ticket includes 2 Adult tickets free of charge.
There are also two other grotto experiences for Baby and Toddler, as well as a Quiet Grotto designed for children with Autism or additional needs who may find our usual Grotto overwhelming.

Ramsgate Sea Scouts
The 6th Ramsgate Sea Scouts are hosting their first Christmas Grotto fundraiser from Saturday (22nd November).
The custom built grotto opens at 4pm and is based in the Scout Hall at Ramsgate’s Ice House in Military Road.
The event has been entirely created by the sea scout members, leaders, and volunteers, with support from local shops and residents.
The grotto will be open to families throughout the festive season and funds raised will go towards supporting Sea Scouts’ activities and equipment and the continued Ice House refurbishment.
Cost is £5 per child and every child receives a gift .
The grotto includes a winter wonderland and illuminated 6th Ramsgate express train. Some nights will also include marshmallow toasting.

On Saturday 20th December the Sea Scouts are holding a Christmas market and the grotto will be open for walk ins only.
There will be lots of stalls on offer and Santa will be taking to the harbour in his illuminated boat at 6:30pm.

Santa will be in his Grotto at The Centre during the Christmas light switch on event on November 29.
The Grotto is open from 10am to 5pm.

Westwood Cross
Families are invited to meet Santa when his Grotto opens on Friday 28th November, running through until Christmas Eve.
Children on the ‘nice list’ will have the chance to share their Christmas wishes and receive an age-appropriate gift, while accompanying adults enter for free.

RAF Manston History Museum
The reindeers are having a rest as Santa makes his grotto in a helicopter at RAF Manston History Museum.
Take the chance to explore the museum full of aircraft and exhibits illustrating the history of Manston airfield from 1916 to the present day.
Visit 6 and 7 December between 10am and 4pm.
The visit with Santa is included in the normal admissions fee, however visitors will book a time slot to see Santa. Presents included.

Quex Adventure Farm Park
Venture through a magical elf forest to visit Santa for festive tales at Quex Adventure Farm Park
All the good boys and girls are invited to board the Elf Express and depart along Candy Cane Lane to the Magical Elf Forest where the dancing elves are eagerly awaiting your arrival, to see Santa himself.
See spectacular Christmas lights, even Santa’s very own farm with reindeer experiences, try your skills on the ice rink and tuck into warming snacks.

Crampton Tower Museum
Journey up the Tower, through the elves’ workshop, to visit Father Christmas in his grotto. If the weather allows, kids of all ages can enjoy a ride on the 5-inch gauge miniature railway!
Price £15 per child includes: visit to Santa’s Grotto, a carefully chosen gift, (suitable for children up to 11 years of age), one free train ride per paying child and free entry for a maximum of 2 accompanying parents or guardians. (Booking fee for online tickets)
As space is limited in the grotto, additional adults / older siblings will be charged £5 per head on the day to join the group with Santa.
The Museum Kiosk will open for first check-in at 12.30pm. There will be hot drinks and a children’s play area in the warm Waiting Room in the Main Hall.
The museum is dedicated to local history and celebrates the designer of locomotives and railways Thomas Crampton.
