Emergency services have attended a three car crash in Broadstairs this morning (October 9).
Police were called to Westover Road at 8.13am. South East Coast Ambulance service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
Minor injuries were reported. Crews remain at the scene while the vehicles are recovered.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 8.13am on Thursday 9 October after a three vehicle collision in Westover Road, Broadstairs.
“Officers attended the scene alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service where minor injuries were reported.
“Emergency services remain at the scene whilst recovery is arranged for the vehicles.”
Does not surprise me there are accidents the volume of traffic is crazy more so because of st peters rd shut, I had to go out today for a good reason but what normally takes 10 mins took me 45 mins and people are trusting to luck getting in and out of jams and getting frustrated
Just remember, whilst you’re complaining about the traffic, you’re also traffic. There’s also a lot more ways across Thanet than using St Peters Road.
Well aware of that and thats why more traffic using alternatives and yes I am also traffic and not stupid however have been avoiding going out when Rd closed but had to go today and I will avoid going out until I have no choice and don’t come up with idea of using a bus as with the Rd closed there are none at all where I live
With thousands more houses still to be built, it’s just getting worse. I live in Minster, but avoid going into Thanet towns at all cost. The roads no longer cope.
