Police and Kent fire service were called to a suspected car arson in Broadstairs this morning (October 8) – the second on the isle in just five hours.
Emergency crews were called to Upton Road at 6.58am to reports of smoke coming from a vehicle.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One fire engine attended and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
“There are no reported injuries and the cause is believed to be deliberate.”
The crew finished at the scene at 7.32am.
