Three fire engines were in attendance at a fire on the railway line at Ramsgate last night (October 7).
Crews were called at 8.25pm to the incident on a non-commuter line from the station, in the area of the Newington Road bridge.
Network Rail also attended.
Dry power was used to extinguish the flames and no injuries were reported.
Crews finished at the scene at 9.15pm.
I hope they cleaned up all that dry powder perfectly, given its extremely toxic to humans and wildlife and there’s defo a few birds of prey aorund that area.
