A new weekly club has been set up at Margate Library, providing a supportive and inclusive space for neurodivergent children and teenagers in the area.
The Inclusion Crew meets every Saturday from 2pm to 3pm and is welcoming to all ages. It offers a wide range of free activities including puzzles, arts and crafts, video games, sensory activities and more. There is no charge to attend, and no booking is required.
The group has been set up by a group of neurodiverse and disabled adults to provide a safe and welcoming space for young neurodiverse people to relax, meet others, and try new things without the social pressures they may face elsewhere.
Held inside Margate Library at Cecil Street, Margate (CT9 1RE), the Inclusion Crew aims to give children and teens the chance to explore new things in a calm and understanding environment. Each session is supported by adults with lived experience, and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
