Police are investigating a car fire in Broadstairs during the early hours of this morning (April 22) which is believed to have been started deliberately.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Norman Road at 2.50am to a report of the vehicle ablaze. A second vehicle also caught light.
A KFRS spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to calls of a vehicle alight on Norman Road, Broadstairs.
“One fire engine attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
“No injuries were reported and the cause is believed to deliberate.”
The crew finished at the scene at 4.15am.
Kent Police confirmed officers are investigating the incident.
A spokesperson said: “Officers attended the scene in Norman Road, Broadstairs, and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
