A woman was treated at the scene following a one car crash in Margate this morning (March 7).
Police and paramedics attended the scene in Ramsgate Road, by the QEQM Hospital, at 8.20am.
A South East Coast Ambulance service spokesperson said: “SECAmb were called at approx. 08:22 this morning to reports of a collision outside the QEQM hospital in Margate.
“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene before discharging them from our care.”
Kent Police added: “Emergency services attended and a woman was treated for injuries which are not believed to be serious.”
Not usual for me to post a response, but is this not the incident that occurred inside of the Ramsgate Rd side of (QEQM) beside the Pilgrim Hospice, I had witnessed the incident @ 08.20am when a Car with a female occupent flipped on its side. It didn’t appear to be a collision with another vehicle & security dealt with the traffic around the helicopter pad.
I’ll check with police. My enquiry was about Ramsgate Rd but the police response was St Peters Rd
Well whatever was reported it was an unfortunate incident it’s only fortunate it happened inside the hospital for a quick response.

From the traffic lights up to the roundabout must be the most dangerous area in Thanet.
To much thinking required to design a one way system around some areas of Margate, as for College Road from the lights , cut down the size of the pavement and make the road a bit wider.
