St George’s Church in Ramsgate is inviting people to take part in its annual Christmas Tree Festival.
Applications are now open with a deadline of 26th November.
The Friends of St George’s invite friends, families, schools and organisations, Church Hall users, and businesses in the town and those who are in sympathy with the restoration of the church, to exhibit a decorated tree in the 16th Christmas Tree Festival and make it the best yet.
Suggestions for decoration include Christmas Carols or songs, a colour theme or something specifically connected with the exhibitor. For businesses this is an inexpensive way to advertise and also to support the church.
Setting up will take place on Wednesday 11th December and Thursday 12th December between 2pm-5pm and the festival will be open to visitors from December 13-22.
There will be a small prize for the favourite tree chosen by visitors.
