Police have issued CCTV images of two men following an assault in Broadstairs which left the victim with serious head injuries.
At around 1.17am on Sunday 27 October, a man was assaulted inside and then outside The Dolphin pub in Albion Street.
The victim suffered serious head injuries, for which he continues to receive treatment.
A 33-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and officers have released CCTV images of two men they believe may be able to assist enquiries.
Police are also very keen to speak to a man believed to have witnessed the incident, described as having a white beard and wearing a flat cap and dark ‘bomber’ jacket.

A serious assault in Ramsgate and a serious assault in Broadstairs have a link = late night drinking dens and thick thugs looking for someone to pick on. I blame the authorities for allowing these places to stay open half the night. As I’ve said before where are the police?? They know where the trouble hot spots are.

“One man”- yes. Very late at night, at the weekend. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not usually safe to walk around in Ramsgate.

Funny, isn’t it, that we can look at galaxies far, far away with absolute clarity and yet CCTV from a few feet away is blurry as anything?
Galaxies aren’t coked up moving oxygen thieves captured on a £200 pub CCTV camera. Footage is much clearer when captured on a £1bn telescope.
With 4k images now available for a long time and cameras that can zoom in over a mile away and this is the best quality image you can get? No wonder so many thugs get away with it, better images lead to more convictions, but I guess that costs too much of tax payers money.
Yeah, I’m sure the Dolph can afford nearly £10k a year for a storage server suite and 50-60k py for dedicated sysengineers to manage the amount of storage needed to keep record of video files that large…
