Garlinge Primary School and Nursery is thrilled to announce this year’s Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boys, Deputy Head Girls, and Senior Prefects. Pupils celebrated with a special assembly where they received their new leadership badges and were recognised for their achievements. The selection followed a rigorous application process throughout Term 1, including an interview with the Heads of School Mr Cope and Mrs Northrop.
The pupils, who stood out for their dedication, teamwork, and positive attitudes, will now take on new responsibilities in leading their peers and representing the school in various events and activities throughout the year.
Head of School Mrs Northrop, expressed her pride in the pupils’ commitment, saying, “We were incredibly impressed by the high level of maturity, enthusiasm, and leadership shown by all our candidates, whilst demonstrating our school values of Perseverance, Aspiration, Respect and Teamwork . We look forward to seeing our pupils thrive in these important roles.”
Head Girl, Lydia expressed her delight after being chosen, ‘’I am honoured to be given this role as Head Girl and am looking forwards to being a positive role model to the pupils in our school.’’
The children will begin with their first important job as tour guides on Thursday 7th November, when prospective Reception children and their parents and carers will be visiting Garlinge Primary School and Nursery for their Open Day.
