Reclamet boss becomes new Quick Waste owner in multi-million pound deal

Reclamet director Stuart Mann is the new owner of Sittingbourne firm Quick Waste

Domestic and commercial waste removal and skip hire service Quick Waste Ltd, based in Sittingbourne, has been bought via a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) – a company structure set up for a given purpose, with its own assets and liabilities – owned by director of Birchington based Reclamet Stuart Mann, in a multi-million-pound deal.

The Quick Waste site and waste transfer station, together with 70% of the business will be owned by the SPV. Quick Waste Ltd. will remain as its own business entity.

Quick Waste Ltd was established in 2019 following an acquisition from London Kent Metals and has been run successfully as a non-hazardous domestic and commercial waste collection and skip hire business ever since. Current Quick Waste Managing Director, Jack Crush will remain in position of day-to-day operations.

Quick Waste and Reclamet will develop a one-stop-shop for total waste management services across Kent and the South east.

As a former customer of Quick Waste, I was impressed by its professional, committed and customer-focused team under the stewardship of Jack Crush who is undeniably hard-working, tenacious and ambitious leader.

“I am very much looking forward to working with Jack and getting to know the rest of the team to grow the business together.”

Quick Waste employs 35 people.

Reclamet car breaker and metal recycling centre employs 85 people. The Birchington company has three sites covering 10 acres, including a 40,000 sqft warehouse at nearby Manston for its 100,000+ auto parts.

Reclamet is also sponsoring Ramsgate’s T50 Boxing and Fitness Academy, based in Whitehall Road and founded by champion boxer and personal trainer Alex Stockley.

Reclamet has provided the T50 Academy with all the new kits for young people.
