Mr. Blake At Your Service, with John Malkovich in the leading role, will open the Ramsgate Film Festival with its UK Première at The Palace Cinema, Broadstairs.
The screening will be followed by a gala reception at the Royal Albion Hotel, where each attendee will receive a free drink.
Ramsgate International Film Festival kicks off tomorrow (June 25) with an offering of 20 feature films and 70 shorts from 36 countries.
The festival is a celebration of new works by local and international filmmakers, embracing innovative storytelling and new technologies, with diversity and inclusion at its heart.

The Ramsgate International Film Festival is a BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) qualifying festival, and was voted in the 100 Best Film Festivals out of 3,000 film festivals.
It runs from June 25-30 with events and showings at four main venues:
- Ramsgate Community Cinema
- Queen’s Head pub
- Paragon
- The Palace Cinema Broadstairs
Screenings are chosen by the Selection Committee comprising of a panel of industry professionals and local residents.
