Cyclist airlifted to hospital following collision in Margate

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision in Margate in which a cyclist suffered serious injuries.

Kent Police was called to assist at 00.33am on Tuesday 4 June after it was reported that a lorry and a push bike had collided at the junction of Addington Street and Addington Road.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service. A man was treated for injuries before being airlifted to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information to assist the investigation, including dashcam footage or CCTV, to come forward. Contact 01843 222289 quoting 04-0021.
