Musicals, hits and a celebration as MOS take to the stage at Ramsgate’s Granville Theatre

MOS Showtime takes to the stage at the Granville Theatre in Ramsgate this evening (Wednesday 29 May).

This year’s showtime brings a night at the musicals with numbers from ultra-new shows such as Everybody’s Talking About Jamie; Waitress; The Prom and Dear Evan Hansen, through Six and Hamilton to Moulin Rouge; Jesus Christ Superstar and We Will Rock You.

The Showtime company are joined by guest teams of talented children presenting songs from Billy Elliot.

There is also a celebration of Stephen Sondheim while the Pick A Note choir take the audience to Saturday Night at the Movies!

Aside from musicals the show also includes a selection of the hits of Harry Styles and Taylor Swift.

Showtime 2024 has been jointly directed and choreographed by Donna Clements and Amy Simpson with Molly Knight as vocal coach, joined by Stephen Porter who leads the recently formed MOS acapella singing group “Pick a Note”, and Brya Porter as children’s choreographer.

Performances are Wednesday 29 May to Saturday 1 June nightly at 7:30pm with matinee Saturday at 3pm,
