Emergency services attend crash in Margate’s Cecil Square

Police, paramedics and fire service were called to a crash in Cecil Square, Margate, today (May 13).

Emergency services attended the two vehicle collision at 3.15pm.

Two people were treated by paramedics at the scene but it is understood no serious injuries were reported.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called following a two-vehicle collision in Cecil Square, Margate at 3.15pm.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service and assisted with traffic management.”

Fire crews helped clear spilled fluid and traffic is reportedly moving now.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “SECAmb were called shortly before 3:30pm today (13/05/24) to reports of a RTC involving two vehicles in Cecil Square, Margate.

“Crews arrived and have assessed and treated two people at the scene.”
