Properties in Nash Court Road, Margate, lost water supply last night (April 18) due to a burst main.
Southern Water attended to fix the issue which one resident said had resulted in “a fountain about 10 ft into the air.”
A spokesperson for Southern Water said: “We’re sorry for the disruption our customers experienced in Nash Court Road in Margate on Thursday evening.
“Our teams repaired a leak in this area but unfortunately carrying out this work meant some customers experienced a loss of supply or low pressure for two hours.”
The leak was fixed by 7.30pm.
