A teenager was taken into the care of health professionals after police attended a welfare concern report in Margate last night (March 6).

Officers attended after a call about a teenage male in distress on the roof of a carpet shop in Ramsgate Road.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at around 7pm following reports of concern for a teenager in Ramsgate Road, Margate.

“Officers attended and the teenager has been taken into the care of health experts.”
