Kent Wildlife Trust walk and litter pick

The Trust has organised the clean up at the Hoverport and Pegwell beach (accessed via a path by the Viking Ship and not via the KCC Country Park) for Monday, February 12.

Sally Smith, from the Trust, said: “This is a great opportunity to find more out about this fascinating National Nature Reserve and the important wildlife that relies on this protected beach.”

The half term clean up includes an afternoon guided walk. Meet by the Salty Seal Café, KCC Pegwell Country Park Car Park. A256 Sandwich Rd, Cliffsend, Ramsgate CT12 5JB

The event runs from 10am until midday,

Families are welcome but children must be supervised at all times.

  1. Since Kent Wild Life Trust chopped down 1000,s of trees and installed over £1 million pounds worth of fencing to allow 3 bison who hadn’t been seen in this country for 3000 years, to roam at Thornden woods, and stopped hundreds of people walking through an area that they have used 10’s of years, I have no time for them.
