Emergency services attend welfare concern report at former hoverport site

Emergency services responded to a concern for welfare report at the former Hoverport site at Pegwell yesterday (January 2).

Police, Coastguard, paramedics and the fire service were in attendance following a report at 4.25pm.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called following concern for a man near Sandwich Road, Ramsgate at 4.25pm.

“Officers attended along with HM Coastguard, Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was located and passed into the care of healthcare professionals.”
