St Lawrence College Junior School Santa Run raises £850 for Pilgrims Hospices

St Lawrence College Junior School Santa Run

St Lawrence College Junior School held a successful Santa Run last week in aid of Pilgrims Hospices.

The festive run, initiated by Father Christmas, had enthusiastic participation from all the children, aged three to 11, at the school.

The event, organised to support Pilgrims Hospices in their mission to provide free-of-charge services to those facing terminal illnesses, received overwhelming support from the whole school community. The £850 raised will contribute to the invaluable work of Pilgrims Hospice.

Junior school head teacher Ellen Rowe said: “We are truly humbled by the tremendous support from our community and the success of the Santa Run. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff who worked tirelessly to organise this event, and to everyone who participated and supported us.

“The funds raised will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need, and we are proud to have played a part in supporting Pilgrims Hospice.”
