The Wriggly Nativity comes to Northdown Primary

The Wriggly Nativity at Northdown Primary

It’s the time of year that every Reception class teacher looks forward to – the annual Nativity show to parents.

This year’s offering at Northdown Primary School, Margate, was entitled The Wriggly Nativity and the children delivered exactly what was promised…a wriggly tribute to Joseph and Mary’s adventures.

Joining the Reception children were Northdown’s nursery pupils who threw themselves into the action with gusto, dancing and performing the actions they had practised over the term.

A few last minute nerves from children and adults alike were soon overcome as the show began. The watching adults were treated to a festive treat as the story of the meaning behind Christmas unfolded complete with animals,  shepherds and wise men.

Charlotte Filmer, Early Years Foundation Stage Lead, could not have been prouder of the youngsters. She said: “We are immensely proud of all of the children in Early Years. They worked incredibly hard and the performance was amazing.”
