Chartwell House launches second Festive Food Pantry to help struggling Thanet residents

Chartwell House Festive Pantry

On Saturday, 9th December, from 10am to 2pm, Chartwell House in Broadstairs will host its second annual, Festive Food Pantry at St Laurence Church Hall in Ramsgate. #

The charitable event will offer support to people struggling during Christmas.

In 2022, the Festive Food Pantry lent a helping hand to more than 30 families in need, and this year, their mission is to expand their reach even further. The 2022 success was made possible thanks to the support of the Thanet community, including contributions from the public and businesses.

The Festive Food Pantry is delivered in conjunction with the Parish of St Laurence. The partnership with the Parish helps to support families in need during the holiday season.

This year it is hoped to provide assistance to even more families.

Jude Coveney, Admissions Manager of Chartwell House, added: “Our doors are open to all who wish to partake in this heart-warming initiative. It’s not just about providing food; it’s about kindling warmth and hope within our community.”
