Road taped off in Margate after call to medical incident

A road in Margate was cordoned off while emergency services dealt with a medical incident yesterday (October 1).

Police attended Addington Street at 8am after South East Coast Ambulance Service called for assistance.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “At around 8am on Sunday 1 October, patrols attended Addington Street, Margate after South East Coast Ambulance Service attended a medical incident.

“A cordon was placed at the scene until officers had completed enquiries in connection with the matter.”

A further road closure yesterday by the Grosvenor Place/Queen’s Avenue roundabout was related to a motocyclist coming off their vehicle. No injuries were reported.
