New games and stories for Reception children at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School

Youngsters have built a den

Children at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Broadstairs have been enjoying the start to their Reception Year, making new friends and learning lots of new routines.  Playing games with the parachute in PE has become a firm favourite.

As well as the exciting and engaging opportunities the children have been making good use of the home area and have been busy writing and drawing. They have even built a fantastic Den like the one Robin Hood made in their class reader ‘Each Peach Pear Plum.’

Year 5 Play Leaders joined the Reception Class children at playtime and taught them how to play “What’s the time Mr. Wolf?”

The school team cannot wait to see the children continue to grow and develop over the weeks ahead.
