Emergency services attend crash in Cliftonville

A man was taken to hospital yesterday (September 1) following a crash in Cliftonville.

Emergency services were called to the collision in Eastern Esplanade just after 9am. The driver was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 9.06am on Friday 1 September to a collision involving one car in Eastern Esplanade. Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the driver was treated for injuries.

“He was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.”

It’s understood the man’s injuries were not life threatening.
