Carnival organisers have also teamed up with  Gadds’ to create a new beer, the Ramsgate CarnivAle, which is in pubs and will raise funds for the annual event.

The beer is brewed from locally grown hops, using a very old variety, East Kent Golding, often described as the ultimate English hop.

Each sale will see an amount returned to the carnival. Gadds’ is also helping with a bar at Government Acre.
