Minster held its fabulous parade and show yesterday (July 22) without letting the appalling weat5her dampen the spirits.
With an ‘All Things Royal’ theme Kings, Queens and even playing cards could be spotted as the throng made its way to Minster Rec.
At the ground visitors could enjoy a funfair, more than 50 stalls, races for children, live music, chainsaw carving, magicians and a show marquee containing craft, cookery, flowers, fruit and veg competitions.
Youngsters were entertained by Pip the Clown, Pat the magician and Juggle it All. The Samba Pelo Mar Drummers, Ozzie ad the Uglies, Village Voices Choir and Henry Blake provided music and there was a tug of war, bar, food stalls and more.
