After a successful production of ‘Wizard of Oz Youth Edition’ in April this year, Stargazers Performing Arts will be performing ‘Oliver Jr’ at the Centre, Birchington in April 2024. Auditions and rehearsals will start Thursday 7th September at Chatham House Drama Studio.
Young people aged between KS2 (school year 3 in September) and 18 are invited to try ut for roles including Oliver, Nancy, Fagin or Artful Dodger or be a part of the Orphan or Older Chorus please contact [email protected].
The production is being produced and choreographed by Tara Challenor, directed by Hester Smith and Musical Director is singer Tara James.
Stargazers also have a youth vocal harmony group that has sung in concerts, charity events and fairs this year. It is looking for more members aged between 9 and 18 to join. The group sings all genres of music and there are plenty of opportunities to perform with a charity show in October and several Christmas events coming up.
