Police and fire staff are in attendance at a collision on Canterbury Road East in Ramsgate.
The road is partially blocked and there is queuing traffic both ways between A299 and B2054 London Road.
Nethercourt is also extremely busy as motorists attempt to divert.
UPDATE: Following the incident a Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to a two-car collision in Canterbury Road East, Ramsgate at 8.45am on Tuesday 7 February.
“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service. The road was closed while the incident was responded to and reopened at around 9.40am.”
