
Kent Fire and Rescue Service has attended a car fire in Ramsgate this morning (December 22).
The fire service was called at 8.52am after a report of the car on fire in Margate Road. No casualties were reported.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was sent to the scene of a car fire on Margate Road in Ramsgate at around 8:52. One fire engine was sent to the scene, and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported.”
The crew finished at the scene at 9.10am.
Finally, I got here to give a reply, Duuurh! It would have been helpful if someone had swept up all the broken glass left on the pavement! This is a hazard, especially for pneumatic tyres on mobility scooters!
