Thanet’s RM Football Coaching will be hosting free Christmas holiday clubs for children who are eligible for free school meals.
The club is run as part of the government Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
The national scheme is backed by around £200m per year for the next three years with the aim of providing enriching activities to children and young people, particularly those who receive free school meals.
RM Football Coaching is running the activity camps for children eligible for free school meals across three venues in Ramsgate, Margate and Westgate -On-Sea
The sessions include activities and a free hot lunch and snacks for all children in attendance as well as a free Christmas food hamper.
The club takes place from Monday, December 19 to Thursday, December 22.
Primary School Venues – 4-12 Year olds
Newington Community Primary School, Ramsgate, CT12 6HX
Ursuline College, Westgate – On – Sea, Canterbury Road, CT8 8LX
Activities: Multi-Sports, Archery, Arts and Crafts, Games Room, Sensory Play, Bouncy Castles, Nerf Zone, Play Bus and an In-house pantomime
Secondary School Venue – 12 – 16 Year olds
Thanet Club 13 Boxing -Hartsdown House, Hartsdown Rd, Margate CT9 5QX
Activities: Learn the fundamentals of boxing with ex-Pro Jack Morris, multi- sports at Margate FC and art/design
