The A28 Canterbury Road between St Nicholas-at-Wade and Sarre has been closed due to a car which has overturned.
There is a heavy traffic build up both ways between Manor Road and Ostlers Lane.
Stagecoach bus services 8 and 8A are diverting via Ramsgate Road and the A299.
Kent Police officers are at the scene.
