Four crews attend house fire in Ramsgate

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in a home on South Eastern Road in Ramsgate today (August 5).

Four fire engines attended the incident after being called out at 12.30pm.

Crews arrived to a fire on the first and second floor of the building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, main jets, and water from a local hydrant to extinguish the blaze.

No casualties were reported, and the cause has not yet been established. KFRS’ Volunteer Response Team was also in attendance.

Fire crews finished at the scene at 3pm.
