Teenager punched and robbed of Gucci bag in Ramsgate robbery

A teenager was punched several times and had had his bag stolen during a robbery in Ramsgate.

The victim was walking along Gwyn Road at around 2.50pm on Wednesday (May 26) when a car pulled up behind him.

Two men got out of the car and one demanded the victim’s bag. The victim was then punched several times before being threatened into handing over his bag.

The suspects got back into the car and drove away in the direction of Nixon Avenue.

The bag is described as a Gucci satchel and contained AirPods and cash.

The first suspect was described as black, aged in his 20s with a beard, over 6ft in height and of stocky build. He reportedly wore a black balaclava, a blue coat, black jogging bottoms or trousers and black shoes.

The second suspect was described as a black man of slim build, dressed all in black and wore a black balaclava.

  1. I hope this doesn’t happen to your loved ones. This boy was 16 and hurting nobody. Not drug related! Article fails to mention they pulled a knife on him and then beat him up. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. What is wrong with people that you make fun of somebody experiencing this. The people that make the jokes are the ones who would no doubt piss their pants if anything like this happened to them.

    • I genuinely didn’t even know Gucci made bags for men. Of course much like people who walk around wearing Rolexes, flash jewelry etc they often become a target for robbery.

      As you know a lot about the incident perhaps you can tell us how a 16 year old can afford a bag that from searching looks to be the best part of a grand, multiple airpods that from searching look to cost about 150 quid a pop & an undisclosed amount of cash? Rich parents bearing gifts? Other than that what else would most people think?
