A burglar who jumped from a window in Cliftonville to escape police is still on the run.
Officers were called at 6.50pm yesterday (February 22) to a burglary in progress in Northdown Avenue, but when they arrived and began to search the property the suspect jumped out of a window.
Police were seen running down Northdown Road but they failed to catch the person.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “The suspect remains outstanding. A forensic examination of the property has since been carried out and an investigation is ongoing.”
