A man has been arrested after a woman was punched in the face in Ramsgate.
Kent Police was called to King Street at 8.15pm on Sunday, January 12. The woman, in her 40s, suffered injuries to her face and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. She has since been discharged.
A 26-year-old man from the Ramsgate area was arrested yesterday (January 21) on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. The suspect has since been bailed, pending further enquiries, to return to a police station on February 12.
