‘Missing’ Tyler Hastilow’s mum has been contacted to say he is safe and with a friend in Margate.
Earlier today (December 30) police officers renewed an appeal to find Tyler,who had been missing since Christmas Day,
Tyler, who lives in Ramsgate with his girlfriend, had not been in contact with his mum Julie, his partner or close friends since Christmas Day although police were told of a sighting in Bellevue Road on Boxing Day.
The 24-year-old did not have a phone with him. Worried Julie issued an appeal to find him which was shared widely on social media.
Following news of his whereabouts she said: “I’m just happy he’s alive. Thank you to absolutely everyone that shared and messaged me, police are bringing him home now to be with his family.”
He is expected home shortly.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “A 24-year-old man reported missing from Ramsgate has been found safe and well.
“Officers would like to thank all those who assisted with assisted with their enquiries.”
