Some 74 people braved the waves at today’s (December 29) winter dip at the Western Undercliff in Ramsgate.
The annual swim was counted down by Ramsgate resident and former Doctor Who actress Janet Fielding.
After the plunge in the sea all participants were awarded with a medal for taking part.
Following the swim some of the dippers warmed up with food and drinks at the Hotel de Ville.
Organiser Maxine Morgan said: “It was an amazing spectacle” A massive thanks also to the Hotel de Ville for their hospitality and free food.”
Signed in , done the swim but didn’t know there was a medal to collect. First time, I’ll remember next year.
