Vue cinema at Westwood Cross will reopen tomorrow December 29) after the venue was forced to shut due to a ‘water leak,’ according to an announcement by Westwood Cross.
The venue has been closed since Boxing Day. Customers who had pre-booked had to phone customer services for refunds. Many were left angry at long waiting times to have their calls answered and then were told it would be several days before money was returned.
In a message on social media Wetswood Cross staff posted: “The damage caused by a water leak at Vue is almost repaired and the cinema will reopen tomorrow (Sunday) at 8.45am ready for the first screening at 9am.”
Vue has now confirmed the reopening.
