Afternoon music fundraiser in Broadstairs in memory of Folk Week regular Chris Rozee

The event will raise funds for Pilgrims Hospices in memory of Chris Rozee

Songwriters’ Den  will host an afternoon of top talent to raise money for Pilgrims Hospice and to celebrate the life of music lover Chris Rozee.

Chris was a regular volunteer at Broadstairs Folk Week until ill health sadly prevented him from continuing.

Before Chris passed away earlier this year following a short fight with cancer, he was cared for by Pilgrims Hospice.

Friends at the Songwriters’ Den are organising the event to remember Chris and to thank Pilgrims Hospice for the wonderful work they do.

Bands on the bill include Broken Boats, Thousands Army, Ginny’s Motley Crew and Fat Tuesday – with whom Chris played on the washboard on many an occasion.

Entry is free but a suggested donation of £5 to Pilgrims Hospice would be appreciated. Fundraising buckets will be available for donations at the event.

There will be a raffle with prizes including a Saturday night ticket for two for the next Broadstairs Blues Bash in 2020.

The event is being held t the Pavilion in Broadstairs on October 13 from 11.30am to 4pm.
