Ska Weekender heading for The Saddler pub in Minster

Get your two tone shirts, braces and black and white outfits ready because Ska is coming to Minster for the whole Bank Holiday weekend.

Village pub The Saddler will be hosting the event which kicks off on the Friday night with  Debbie Haze bringing a range of ska tunes to entertain the punters.

Saturday welcomes Avanzi at 2pm followed by Brad Pittance and The Pirates. Finishing the day in style will be the legendary TooT ‘N’ Skamen. The band have been doing their thing since 1985, including heading up the Modropheniacs scooter rally and performing with Bad Manners and The Selecter.

On Sunday The Scorchers are back from 3pm.

The Saddler will also have an outside bar with cocktails and  barbecue. Landlady Dee Horton said: “I’m proud to be hosting this event, building on the popularity of the music not only through our patrons but in the local area. It’s free to come along so all you will need is your drinking and barbecue money.”
