Two fire engines have attended a fire at a home in Ramsgate this afternoon (August 14).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 12.19pm to reports of a fire in Meridian. Crews arrived to fire and smoke coming from the ground floor of the property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to tackle the blaze. The cause has not yet been established but is believed to be accidental.
Fire crews finished at the scene at 1.30pm.
