Ramsgate couple announce huge ‘laser light’ Christmas display for mental health charity

Christmas light fun at the Keen family home

It’s never too early to be thinking about Christmas as far as Ramsgate couple Tyrone and Katie Keen are concerned.

The pair are already organising their annual lights display and this year it is aid of mental health charity Rethink.

Last year Tyrone, Katie and her daughter Bethany, 6,  created a light spectacular at their home in Nethercourt Farm Road to raise funds for the Kent Air Ambulance.

The amazing spectacle included a huge 25,000 bulb light display, Santa, elves a snow machine and more for a three day event.

And this year they have decided to step it up again.

Katie said: “We provide a big light display but this year we’re going to extra mile and we’re adding a big laser light show.

“We have chosen Rethink Mental Health as this is a charity that’s very close to not only us as a family but millions of people who are suffering with this awful illness.

“Absolutely everyone is welcome. We will be selling hot food and drinks, we will have Santa  and elves, glow sticks, sweets, music!

“We will also be holding a raffle with some amazing prizes from our very talented locals including homemade Christmas themed cakes.”

The display will be on show December 6-7 from 6pm both nights.
