The grey skies did not put off the crowds as they turned out to cheer on Ramsgate carnival today (July 28).
Floats from clubs, pubs, groups and more joined the throng to parade from Government Acre, along the seafront, through the town and back up to the Westcliff.
Skaters, dancers, drummers, re-enactors, princesses and even an elephant took part!
There was also plenty of fun at Government Acre with a fair, glitter tattoos and, yesterday, a dog show.
Scores of floats, wacky vehicles and amazing costumes were on show for the annual event.
