A man has been arrested in Ramsgate in connection with a report of rape.
Kent Police was called to Staner Court in Manston Road yesterday (July 22) at 2pm.
The offence is reported to have taken place on July 2-13.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to an address in Manston Road, Ramsgate, following a report of a non-recent rape committed between 12 and 13 July.
“A local man in his 20s, who is understood to be known to the victim, was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody.”
